New York Radio Meet

I just came from a New York (Long Island) radio meet. Small turnout. Temperature was about 27 degrees.

Attached is a picture of what I picked up.

A Zenith Transoceanic H500 for $20.00, RCA Service Notes Books for 1933 and 1936 - $10.00 each, and about 20 NOS Clarostat pots for $4.00.

Not a bad haul.

That T/O...Whine, whimper..How's the antenny ? Does it have the 1L6 or whatever that unobtainium tooob is ? Still, that was a steal...Looks like the Tolex is in good shape, too, I went over mine w/a couple coats of black shoe polish & it looks WUNNERFUL...Ya done good...(grin)

I powered up the Transoceanic and it "motorboats". Some audio. I will start working on it when I finish my present project on the work bench.
