First solid-state TV
You all have heard or seen pictures of the 1939 RCA Lucite TRK-12, well here's the 1952 Lucite solid-state TV.
This is (was) a battery powered set, with a 5" CRT, 37 transistors, drew 14watts, weighed 27 pounds, and received one channel 15 miles from the transmitter when equipped with a rabbit ear antenna. Sorry I know nothing else about this set, anybody?? Chuck
