anyone know this Sony?

The guy offering me this receiver (private transaction which I do not want any advice about price on) say it has transistors and on the back which is not pictured it says it is an 8FS 50 watts.

I want it because it looks cool, and will be so right in my kitchen.

Does anyone know this piece? Sorry about the size of the pix.

Would like to match it up with a good cassette deck.

Thanks,

All I know is that it's about 1970, a mid level receiver/speaker combo... nice mod styling with walnut cabinets. Both Sony and Panasonic make some neat looking units in this era (still made in Japan). Sony's back then were of great quality. If you find a small Sony cassette deck, you'll have a great little system for the kitchen !
