cruising my local kijiji ads recently i came across this heathkit 52lb monster advertised for sale at $75,at the time the ad was already 2 days old so i figured it would be gone.to my surpirse i get a email back telling me the radio is still avaliable but the husband and wife are sick but when their felling better they'll get back to me .well over a week passes and i think to myself the radio is gone or they just forgot about me all together.fast forward to last thursday when i get a email asking if id like to come see the radio.i email them right back saying the time is all wrong since i work 3-11 pm but the weekend would be better.i then setup a appt to meet them on sat and while talking to the guy selling the radio he just gave it to me for free .he ddint want any money just wanted it to goto a good home .ive had one before but this one is almost mint . i also think theres the mods that were printed in electric radio from 97' cause included with the radio i s a copy of the articles that appered in the mag along with the original manual with pencil marks on the schematic that i assume corrospond to the mods mentioned .i really havnt hooked the radio up yet to a good antenna but will be shortly . heres a quick picture of the radio from the kiji ad . i will get some better ones up shortly.

if anyone wants a copy of the mods from electric radio i'd be glad to scan and post them.
