Does anyone know what year a Zenith R2387R combination console is? The seller has it listed as "1930's?"
Stereo at that. I think they might be about 30 years off.John |

I believe that the R models are about 1955.

Looking at tvhistory.tv it seems that they started at the beginning of the alphabet again in 1958.

Sounds like something I'm not interested in then. If it was older, or newer and color then I'd go for it since it's pretty close to me.
Here's the link if anyone is interested. http://lansing.craigslist.org/atq/1435464730.html John |

The stereo portion of this console is likely only used to its max effect when playing records. Stereo LPs first came out in the 50's, stereo FM broadcast started in 1961, and stereo TV in 1984.
