Must...not...bid.....

It's right in my back yard.

The opening bid is about all it's worth but man is it cute!

does the top lid open to access the controls and station tuner?
Boy you not only had to get up out of your chair to change the channel..but you had to lift open a hatch too....
No wonder these people where thin..or was that because they were chain smokers...

Eric, you should grab that... those are cool. My '58 Maggie 17" set uses the same chassis I think... on the front of my Sams, it shows one of those "open the hood" cabinets. However, my controls are on the front. The chassis looks easy to work on, but I've never done anything to mine. STill works fine today just as it did when I got it 10 years ago!

What an interesting cabinet!!! I've seen a few 21" long-legged Magnavoxes with controls ontop in a recess, but never seen this flip-up lid. Reminds me of the Emerson 14" portables that looked like record players.

do it, do it, do it......

can he hold out, will he hold out, can he resist the temptation...

(think ren and stimpy space madness episode and the time travel button that stimpy was supposed to guard so no one would push the button and change history)

Way too cool not to have.

Some fishtanker's mouse is probably hovering over the Place Bid button right now . . . .

It's only $69 if you're in the area... hardly worth quibbling about. Someone who appreciates this stuff should grab it.

I second that. Once you miss them, they're gone!
