Expensive rabbit ears

$125 for a rabbit ear antenna.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=170446007674

Maybe I should paint RCA logos on my old no-names

As a lover of ivory bakelite, I spotted this, and thought that I might throw in a bid on it...when I checked back, the bids had already surpassed my wildest guess as to where it end up.... WOW!

jr

Anybody ever see a TV cabinet in ivory bakelite?

It should work just fine as a DTV antenna, if there's strong enough DTV signals in the area. Antennas don't know nor care what the signal modulation is.

I've noticed a spike in selling prices lately. A Hallicrafters sold for just over $400 a few days ago. An Admiral 19A11 sold for a similar amount a few weeks before that.
This Hallicrafters listed for $1500 is just getting silly

Perhaps were were generating more interest in vintage sets with all our posts

I was watching the bids on the hallicrafters .
A few years back there was a Delco that was much the same , winning bid $175.00
What's going on ???

Maybe I should put my Admiral antenna up for sale.
