As a lover of ivory bakelite, I spotted this, and thought that I might throw in a bid on it...when I checked back, the bids had already surpassed my wildest guess as to where it end up.... WOW!
jr Anybody ever see a TV cabinet in ivory bakelite? Last edited by jr_tech; 02-21-2010 at 01:14 PM. Reason: add question |

It should work just fine as a DTV antenna, if there's strong enough DTV signals in the area. Antennas don't know nor care what the signal modulation is.

I've noticed a spike in selling prices lately. A Hallicrafters sold for just over $400 a few days ago. An Admiral 19A11 sold for a similar amount a few weeks before that.
This Hallicrafters listed for $1500 is just getting silly ![]() Perhaps were were generating more interest in vintage sets with all our posts

Maybe I should put my Admiral antenna up for sale.

Look at the bidding - it was the "two fool" phenonemon.
