Howdy!

I've posted on other forums occasionally over the last decade, so some of y'all might recognize my username; I noticed a few familiar names here too.

Anyway, I've had an interest in pretty much anything old and electronic since I was a kid. I used to be quite active in my hobby of collecting old radios and TV's, but college has taken up all my free time, and money issues forced me to sell almost all my collection.

Recently I came across this forum and started browsing, reading about peoples' finds and adventures repairing their sets. It brought back memories of the fun I had, and I'm thinking about starting up my hobby again, although on a very limited basis. Vintage TVs are plentiful and cheap around here, so I might pick up one or two and try to get them working again.

It's nice to be a part of this forum. I can see there is a vast amount of knowledge here and a genuine appreciation of vintage TV technology.
