CRC-16 Screen caps
Thought you guys might like to see this set in action. It was brought back to life in Norwood Ohio, a few years back. The only issue it has is "rolling" when turned on, and it doesn't really stabilize.

Seems like your CTC-16 has a few issues. Don't know how it was "brought back to life" but can you verify what's already been done?

There is a .001 2KV cap and a 50uf electrolytic that should be changed in the vertical circuit.

When I got the set, the color would not sinc. I don't work on sets so for me it has to go in to be repaired. The fella that has the shop is in his seventies and worked on my Admiral Triple Thrill. He did some work on the tuner as I recall on the RCA. I don't seem to recall that it needed much else.

Usually sets might work OK at the beginning but parts start failing once it's used for a while. You need to at least change that 50uf cap. Electrolytics dry up over time. Good idea to replace all the small electrolytics first. There are only a few in that set.
