Color TV Pictures

Why do only some people post pictures? A picture is worth a thousand words.

I LOVE taking pictures of old TV's! I use an SLR with a shutter speed of 1/30 to capture the best picture of the TV (including both interlaced fields without any bad effects).

My latest picture: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...GP6970copy.jpg

It's my Samsung in my sig, with a Sega Genesis game console pushing some high color amounts to show a picture.. Programmed by someone I know, and it only works on CRT's too, because it uses CRT raster effects to pull off that color (basically interlaces with the two fields having two different color palettes. LCD's don't like that).

How about pictures of the whole tv. Please post them on this site. The links have a tendency to disappear.

My links don't generally disappear, I still have my first digital camera pictures up.

Problem with posting here, I'm limited on what I can store. Unless VK wants to give me unlimited storage, I generally don't put pics here.

But anyways, here are some posted here.. The one with Flandre Scarlet (an insane vampire with custom wings), was generated on my Sega Genesis via a homebrew ROM. The real video for that is on youtube as "Bad Apple!".. Good music..

The others are, just other stuff.

Everyone has an upload limit, people may not want to use it up posting pictures of just stuff.

If you start an account with one of the online picture hosting services then you can link to it or embed the pictures here without using up your VK space.
I know that subscribing to Audiokarma gets you more picture storage space but I don't know if it transfers over to Videokarma.

I try to save and post pictures of eBay stuff because I know it's going to go away eventually and no one will know what it was about.

If you use up your allocation of space I'm afraid the only way to get it back is to delete something, perhaps something that's irrelevant now.

Is there an easy way to get a list (maybe with links) of all the pics you have posted? I'm sure I have some old ones that could be deleted (mostly in the classifieds). Most of the time I use a hosting service anymore, to save what space I have left.

I prefer to use a hosting company like photobucket, whom allow direct links and NO popups whatsoever with them.

I don't really ever delete stuff, and besides, I can then post much larger and higher quality pictures.. Choosing to use this forums attachments feature is very poor, which is why I'm going to repost my pictures that I showed above..

I just thought that even if someone knew what you were talking about and had seen it before, it had possibly been a long time and pictures would help.

Without pictures after some post links expire, some post become meaningless to all but a few.

Links only expire if someone deletes it. I'm not wasting forum space end of story. Not a dictatorship here.
