Hi to All,

Another recent TV French site to visit:

http://radioteleviseurs.free.fr/

Belongs to friend Joel P. who was a Philips dealer for over 3 decades.

Lots of good quality photos, enjoy!

Best Regards

Sorry, the last AM station will leave us at the end of the year!
We have, depending where you live a few dutch stations, but some of them
have the same problem.
The rest you can listen to is from far away, Austria and Switzerland
is gone since years.
There is no more german voice on the radio on AM-bands!
I collected over years articles from newspapers and made exclusive pictures
of the destroying in JÜLICH, the german shortwave transmitter which aired
around the world.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J%C3%BC...io_transmitter

I collected a 400kg part of the 100000 Watt Telefunken sw-transmitter (1966)!
I saved some equipment and all schematics and a lot of paper!
I have exclusive self-made pictures.
I saved exclusive informations from the new owner of the yard and an ex-
radio station employee!

There is a left-winged political group which is responsable for this evolution,
but two german radio forums deleted my posts or warned me to place a post about the
political/historical background.
I can call names!

Only recapping discussions are allowed!

Just because I collected every article from newspapers I have now a clear view on this!
Yes, we are going the North-Korean-way!

I will write a longer story about it, but just now I am writing about a small belgian
TV-maker!

However, but all this has to be placed inside a radio-, not in TV discussion forum.

Thanks for reading!

What are they going to use the vacated band for? Some sort of digital radio? this band is only a megahertz slice of spectrum anyway.

@ wa2ise

Have no idea, because there are a lot of arabian and eastern stations
on our AM band, so it is not free, in evening time stations from far
away are entering these neighbor channels.

And what a luck, the Netherlands have pirates like Radio Veronika:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radio_Veronica

Both ships were old german ships! I hope that there will be new pirates
with other ships!
