Somehow I gathered 7 of these bulbs over the years and a rainy day here gave me time to test them. I used my Philco 50-T701 as a tester. It is a restored set using the Chuck A SS HV sub but had a dim bulb which needed replacing.

I just opened the back and laid all the bulbs on the bench and used the socket out in the open. 3 will go to the recyclers. 4 were useable with one very good.

It is in the set now next to a 1983 10" GE Son-of-Portacolor that may live as long as the 68 year old Philco. When the GE goes, I have another to throw in.

Let me know if your flat screen going great at 68 years old.
