I used to love playing with large boxes as a kid. Most kids are like that. Great photo. Leaving the TV box out front was a good way to show-off to the neighbors.

That's the kind of photo that would look great on the wall of one of our TV rooms. Maybe the ETF should sell prints at the convention.
I also loved playing with boxes, often dressing them up like they were a car and pushing my sisters around on the carpet. I liked to tape a toilet paper roll to the back so it looked like a tailpipe

When we were kids, my brothers and I were the beneficiaries of plenty of TV boxes. Our favorites were the RCA boxes because they were in red and black, and the RCA meatball logo was perfect for cutting out into side hinged windows.
After a couple of days of taking a beating as "forts" or after a rain, they would end up being used for a slide in the lawn. John |
