Cute 1947 Remler "Scotty Convertible"
This is pure eye-candy. It's a mini radio/phono geared towards younger people at the time. The case is several panels of ivory Plaskon, black bakelite, and brown bakelite for the phono table. How these survived is nothing short of a miracle. They're quite delicate. They came in solid ivory Plaskon, solid black bakelite, and this two-tone model, which, to me, is the most impressive. These were made in San Francisco and sold in western states.
