Anyone have a time machine?

From an ad in the 1958 Radio & TV News magazine.

I'll take a dozen of those 630-TS, a half dozen of those Bakelite GE's, a half dozen Motorolas...

anyone have a time machine?

If i had a time machine, i would go back to around 1968-70, and take a couple of semi-trucks, and a van with me. Then, i would go around the country, in places like n.y. city, chicago, l.a, and such ,on trash days, and pick up EVERY old tv set and radio, hi-fi item, etc. I figure i could fill TWO semis with those goodies, in around a month. Then, i would bring them back to 2003. Imagine what i could have found(round color sets, pre-war b.w sets, scads of old radios, tube stereos, and so on.)

NOW THAT would be a trip!!
