23anp4

Hello, All.

I am attempting, most likely in vain, to locate a 23ANP4 for an old Zenith set I acquired recently. If you know of a resource, please let me know. I em ailed Hawkeye about rebuilding the one I have, but they say it cannot be rebuilt because of a front panel. If there is a different tube that would fit, that would be quite helpful, as it would broaden the possibility of locating something suitable.

Thanks for your help,

-Chris

The 23ATP4, 23BKP4, 23BLP4 should replace a 23ANP4 according to sams tube substitution handbook, 1962. That's the one with the saftey glass glued to the front of the crt.
I have a 61 Zenith console with the 23ANP4, its a great set. Those 60s Zeniths are some of the best televisions, I just got a 19" b/w metal table top model that had been sitting in a barn probably for decades, and it still works.
