A $1,200 starting bid on a Muntz?
Whoa! They must not know the history of the Muntz television. Looks to be a 12" roundie though.

For $1200 bucks that set better be new, in the box, with a lifetime guarantee and Mr. Muntz carrying it in for ya! Looks like another newbie trying to get rich after seeing the ads on tv. They definately dont have a clue.

And Muntz was the cheapest set; then & now! I had one that I neither wanted nor could sell, so I put it in the truck and delivered it to Earl Muntz' son at the Van Nuys store back when they were there. He was starting a display collection, and was glad to get it.
As Tony V says, it needs to be all that PLUS it needs to come with a $1300 mail-in rebate

I would love to have a Muntz - they always fascinated me by just how cheaply built they were. Have yet to find one, but I'm not about to spend $1200 on one... Maybe he meant $12 and typed it in wrong? $12 is about right.
