anyone know this radio
Picked up a console at the Salvation Army today ($1.99)
Looks to be about 1940, short wave and regular broadcast. Cabinet is labeled JOHN BARKER AND COMPANY LTD, RADIO AND TELEVISION. Unit contains a philpps turntable, and the radio is only labeled with an 88. John Barker and Co. LTD, was/is a department store in England I am assuming this radio was made for the store. Any Ideas on the manufacturer of the radio?
