Big Bakelite Admiral on ebay
This would be a good one to bid on... if you aren't afraid of the cabinet breaking during shipment!

That's the newer 1949 model, single chassis. Those things are common as water around here, I usually turn them down when I see them, just saw one that I could have had for about $40 last week.
If any of you guys want em, just let me know.....be glad to pick them up and give them new homes

I have the early two chassis model of that set, has a pale green mask around the CRT, and also the single chassis gold mask version. I fully restored the ealy one and this was actually my first vintage set! I wouldn't want to have one of those shipped as I can verify that that cabinet is quite fragile with the weight of the chassis(') in there.
These look really sharp polished up. They only stand about 32 inches tall. CRT is 10BP4. Here is a photo of mine. Rob |

I'll take two
Too bad about the 3000 miles between us or I would take you up on that offer! I have the one with two chassis, I got it from a local eBay seller for $125. I probably got it cheap because the auction closed on 9/11 and no one was watching eBay that day. ![]() Oh yeah, I almost bought Rob's set on eBay one time, but he wasn't the one selling it, remember that Rob?
