A tad high

A little high on the price I would say.
I wrote him and told him a more realistic value, hope I don't get my head bit off

Burst his bubble?

Eric,
I just ran across this listing myself. The header sure got my attention. This seller should know better. I'm glad you set him straight even at the expense of his childhood memories. Bah Humbug!

I just about fell of my chair when I saw that one. I somehow doubt he is going to get a legitimate bid at that price. Seriously, though, other than possibly a few pre-WWII sets, the odd Predicta or a CT-100, are there any sets which would legitmately command such a price? I'm just asking as I am just getting my feet wet in the hobby. I call it collecting--my family just says I am a pack rat!
