Would a bubble ruin this set?

I was told that this automatic had the bubble as an option. I have an original automatic bubble currently installed on a portable. I used photoshop to see how it would look on the console. Anyone out there have a photo of the automatic console with the bubble installed at the factory?

Altering it from original would lower the value of it in my opinion, wouldn't do the donor set any good either.

I love the look of Automatic consoles. If I had one (I should be so lucky) I wouldn't for one second consider altering it.

You must surely know how RARE an Automatic console is, either with or without the maginfier. I would not dream of modifying it.

I that a 7" set????? RARE if it is! I've only owned one 7" console, and I don't even remember what it was. (was in terrible shape, and I junked it in the 80s.)

I'd leave it 100% alone, unless you can install the bubble without any permanent alterations.
