It looks a lot like for something broadcast, industrial or commercial...most home sets did not use the set screw type knobs.

Looks like Steve McVoy picked these up for the ETF museum collection. These television knobs look to be for a very early receiver. Maybe Steve can pin down an exact model.

I have no idea what they are for, but the price was right, so I bought them. Maybe someday I'll need them.
