Watching a Mike Hammer movie on TCM and on the bedside in a scene is a pristine Zenith Transoceanic 600. B&W movie and suspect the radio may have been almost new when used as a prop. Sigh...

Think they made those from 1954 or so til the end came for the Tooob T/Os in '62. IIRC, Zenith started production on the TRANSISTOR T/O in '58, so there was some overlap...
