Wow! I'm on the wrong side of the planet (LOL), but that sure would make a nice addition to a traditional home, perhaps in a library opposite a similarly-styled writing desk. VERY high WAF, as audio things go, I'm sure. Even my wife would like that one! Not very cheap, though (but possibly worth it -?!).

I sent the seller an email for specifics. A lot of money, for sure. One went for $700-ish on eBay a year or two ago, before that another was listed for $3k but I don't think it sold. Both were too far away for me to be interested. This one is 2 hours south -- not impossible to go get. If it were <$1k I'd probably say "Sold". As-is, I'm not too excited. Definitely not calling "dibs" if anyone else here has to have it.

I'll share whatever the guy has to say about it.

Realy cool tv, but the one listed on Craigs list is the same tv on Chuck Azzalina's web site at http://www.myvintagetv.com/magnavox_windsor.htm
I wonder if Chuck is selling his or was the picture used from his web site.
Would realy like to own on but price a little steep.

Sorry to say it, but that picture of the set with the doors open to show the TV screen doesn't even look real. Looks photoshopped (no shadows on the gray part surrounding the CRT (and it would have to be set back to allow the doors to shut, and that set back would create shadowing on the top and sides). Well, maybe not, if the flash was the only light and it was dead on, but it still looks pasted in... And the part below the CRT looks a lot like an old style FM stereo tuner... It almost matches the hang tag, but not quite... The picture makes it look like a slide rule dial like a radio tuner, but the hang tag looks like an access door to hide some adjustment knobs/shafts/trim holes.

Yes, I'm a little suspicious now too. I emailed Chuck at the address given on his site and informed him of the ad. Hopefully he'll get back to me.

Well, you could break down and call the seller on the telephone. I have never had any trouble sorting out sheep from goats in a live conversation.

Or you could drive down there with cash (or whatever) in your pocket and see if he has the real deal and just picked photos from somebody else's website.

Hundreds of the radio/tv photos from my website have been picked off for eBay auctions. I don't have time to police that kind of thing, and there's no practical remedy in any case.

Ive talked to the seller and to Chuck. It's not his. The seller seems legit too. I think she just doesn't have the knowhow to do digital photography and upload pics.

The price is still outside my comfort zone. So it's still moot at this time. If the price drops a lot, maybe.

I used to have the bottom half of this model. Mine was the more rare knotty pine finish and had all of its original papers including the brochure for the optional tv credenza top. It was quite a performer and would shake the room. It had a 15 inch woofer and a fairly large horn tweeter powered by PnP 6L6's. Mine had the 2 speed Magnavox labled Webster changer with the rocker style cartridge. If i knew then what i know know i would have never gotten rid of it. It is a huge and heavy beast though!
