Wow, just wow!
Awesome set. The way the CRT just hangs out there scares me to death though. http://cgi.ebay.com/rare-Pre-War-193...item5199d99da8 |

Holy Battleships, Batman!! The radio even comes with a Captain Nemo style motorized tuner.
Wrong side of North America for me, so I won't be tempted to break my "no more TVs in 2011" vow. Phil Nelson Phil's Old Radios http://antiqueradio.org/index.html |

You do need it. If I lived as close as you do, I'd be making an appointment to inspect it in person.
Sometimes those meetings get a little hectic. Maybe a few thousand dollars falls out of your jeans. Maybe the owner spies money on the floor and picks it up, saying, "I wonder where that came from?" Maybe when you get home, you notice that there is an old TV in the back of your truck. "Now, how the heck did that get in there?" It can all be terribly confusing. I would never encourage a seller to violate eBay rules, of course, but I have heard of Bad People who try such tricks. Phil Nelson |

High, but probably not as high as the last TRK-9 on ebay a few years ago.
You can never tell with these things, depends on who's in the market when one comes up for sale. Chuck

What did the last TRK9 go for?

The back is there and the 'cup' will keep the tube relatively well protected--as long as some clod doesn't snap the neck while it's still off.
I'd love to have such a beautiful set, but I'm afraid I won't be bidding.

I'm afraid not, only have a pair of MC30's awaiting a bit of love. They work, but need a bit of cosmetic restoration (pitted chassis) along with the usual.

I believe the TuRKey-90 is somewhat rarer than a TuRKey-12, but both are sought after with more-a-less the same furvor by those who have the funds to do so.

I think the TRK-9/TRK-90 is rarer than the TRK-12/120, based on the number of locations or discussions of each model I have seen online.
