Zenith 6-S-597
I came into one these and was wondering if these are in the realm of collectable Zenith radios. The reason I ask is I have another Zenith early to late 50's and it seems there is no interest in it.
This one Is pre WWII (1940) and for it's age in pretty good shape. I'm over on AK a lot (dswankey) and know little about these things. Just looking for some info, no value/dollar questions. Here's some pics of the innards, which I plan on putting back in as they came out pretty easy. |

The tall copper chassis sets are the more lusted after ones, but I still consider that collectable. I sort of consider the 50's and 60's tube Zeniths collectable as well.
Though I'm the kind of person who can't really turn down anything pre-1980's Zenith if it is offered cheap enough.
