Sony KV-XBR960 Video input banner stuck on

Can anybody help. My Sony CRT-HDTV KV-XBR960 What ever video input I select. The banner on top left indicating Video input stay on all the time. Tried unplugging all night didn't help. The rest of the banners go off like suppose to.

I have this model. If you have an external device connected, it may be “forcing” the input to display.

You can try this:

Possible Remedies
How to reset TV to factory setting ❏ Turn on the TV. While holding down the RESET button on the remote factory settings control, press the POWER button on the TV. (The TV will turn itself off, then
back on again.) Release the RESET button.

How to restore Video settings to factory setting ❏ Press the RESET button on the remote control while in the Video Menu (see to factory settings page 94).

Thank you for letting me know how to factory reset. Somehow after shutting of Mode memory problem went away. I thought mode memory had something to do with picture controls in the different picture modes. I can't find mode memory any more though.

Going through all setting I found "Mode Memory" and turned it off. Sovled problem. Went back and can't find mode memory anymore. But problem is solved.

Mode memory is in the “Advanced Video” menu. Select “Program” to chose options.
