I bet this was used as a kids TV show prop, or some kind of artwork. Luckily, it looks like it's in pretty good shape except for the paint job. I hope it's water color...

That recent feedback seems to be from sellers complaining about nonpay, which is certainly not good... But it could be laziness and not dishonesty I guess. Then one overseas buyer evidently didn't receive an item. I got three of those too, (out of 1000 positives). Lots of stealing goes in in the international mail system, I proclaim on experience! But the fundamental issue is safe shipping, which may be impossible. So I agree about going to pick it up!!!!!

Thumbs up Blue boy

Hello Tv folks
This is Tom Alias tommyzeek form e-bay the guy with the blue monster(Andrea 1f5) Just wanted to give a heads up on my feedbacks on e-bay because it seems to be a main issue here. We have just adopted a beautiful daughter from guatemala. We kept getting called at a minutes notice to fly out a few times. Each for a few weeks at a time. So when we would get called we had to up and get there on a moments notice. So whatever sold during this time did not get paid till we got back and some are not so patient.Understandably so. Well she is now home with us and things are getting back to normal. The guys overseas that did not recieve there items are not wanting to pay the taxes on them at customs. If any one would like like I have insurance and customs slips for viewing on both. So there is no thievery going on. Just two sides to everything. I would rather a pickup on this. I will personally deliver this within 150 miles of my home to also make sure it makes it there safe and sound. If you pick it up bring your fly rod because we live on the delaware river up towards the Roscoe and Hancock area the trout capital of the world. I also own a recording studio for the musicians. And if your traveling a distance we have enough room to put you up for the night. I just had to bring you folks up to speed because this thread was bringing me down. I do have over 500 or so positive feedbacks and most would say I go above and beyond on all sales. I hope as we are reading the negatives we stop into read a few of the positives. Thanks for opening this thread though I think it is helping my sales as far as advertising goes. I can't keep up with the questions and offers on this. If anyone wants any more info my e-mail is [email protected]. I will gladly supply any and all I can. Thanks and Have fun
Thanks Tom

He's raised the minimum bid from $3500 to $6500. No takers so far.

Hey there Tom here the blue boy. I raised the starting bid because i keep getting e-mails from people who do not want there names mentioned telling me that I should start this a bit higher either way they say its gonna go. Like I said in the listing I'm not a TV buff so I'm just runnming with what all you guys are telling me to But thanks for opening this forum for me it seems to be getting me a ton of questions. I'm also told that this is going to go thru the roof in the last ten minutes of the auction.. Thanks again guys

Tom,
I'm not sure where the info came from that this is only the second 1-F-5 on ebay, but there have been several over the years, although the most recent one may have been a hoax (did anyone ever find out if that guy actually had the set. I know a few of you had sent him email's) I assume the refference to the first one was to my 1-F-5 that sold on ebay in June 2003. I also seem to recall that the asking price on the one in Danny's Gustafsons collection was around $11K. It will be interesting to see what this one brings. Best of luck Tom.

Darryl

That's right John! I was thinking of Danny's GE HM171 set. As I recall Danny's 1-F-5 was pretty nice overall.
