What do I have here?
I got this from my grandmother. I know nothing about this except its a Silvertone. Any information would be helpful.

Silvertone was Sold by Sears Robuck (sp?). The radio looks to be from the late 30s. Is there a piece of paper on the inside of the cabinet with the model number and tube chart?

I have not opened it up yet. My father told me they used to listen to the Lone Ranger, etc on it.

Just opened it up and besides the dust, there is only a parts list.

Hi Geespot,
Thats a Silvertone model 6050 made in 1940. These are great little sets and looks like you have a nice one. These look great when the chrome is polished up and yours is family owned too which is a major plus. Tony |
