Question Panasonic portable

I have my hands full with vintage stereo, so I am not about to get into antique TV. We have this little Panasonic portable TV, 5" B&W. The tube pops up on an angle when you press down on the top of the case. It is about 12" wide x 16" long and 6" deep. The last time I used it, there were all the symptoms of an aging picture tube. I would post a picture, but as yet have been unable to get the icon that is supposed to pop up by the Browse. Does this thing qualify as "Early B&W"?

it is a modern set but the cure is the same.
you may just let it run awhile to clean up a poisoned cathode.
running the heaters 50%higher than normal awhile may help.
i have one of those and it looked bad till it ran overnight.now 10 seconds and its at full brightness.beware that these tubes may have a very low heater voltage and could be easy to blow open.
