40's RCA promotional literature
Came across some neat vintage RCA literature recently. At one time, it looks like these in a binder on the top edge. Each is 12 x 15 cardboard. TV models advertised include 8-T-244, 8-TV-321, 8-T-241, 621TS, 630TS, 630TCS, 641TV, 8-T-243. There are 4 additional pages that promote RCA, news on TV, sports on TV and "the world in your home".

Cut-outs
Gary,
They look great! These would make a fab display behind the appropriate TVs, in a set-up! I once found cutouts of heavy paperboard, of the RCA TT-5. There was a set of 4, and each included a photo view of the television, with a blub. Probably the same thing, but for the Pre-war period. I'm sure they were meant to sit in the dealer's front window, but were never used. (They went to Gustafson, about 20 years ago..ah, the old days!). Harry |

Here's the original counter card display
This is the complete version of Harry's find. It was a counter flip display for the salesman. Wandering through 20 pages, the salesman would show you the wonders of RCA, the engineering behind the set, the social gains you would get being a "television family" and other propaganda and then the last few pages were the models available. 621TS, 630TS, 630TV and the 648PTK. Harry's pages show later models in to 1948 in the same printing style, so I do not know if mine is complete, but I find it odd that they would show the 621TS with the 1948 lineup.
The binder is fake leather embossed paper on heavy card stock. This one came from the same shop I got my unsold CT-100 from. I think another member of this forum with a large format scanner might be convinced to scan all the pages and post them on his website. Calling Chuck A!
