Rareish Philco on eBay

A guy contacted me about this set the other day asking what it was worth, seems there was one at the Antique Mall.
I told him what I paid for mine and the next thing I know he tells me he's listing it on eBay, not exactly what I was hoping to hear because of the fragile nature of this set.

Hopefully someone will buy it close enough to pick it up! (that's a hint BTW )

That's a pickup-only set if ever I saw one. Heavy CRT + thin Bakelite cabinet = ouch!

That would violate the eBay custom of telling you how wonderful something works, but never showing a picture of it in operation.

Quite understandable for many things, but a television is designed to SHOW PICTURES!
