RCA CTC203AX Chassis Advice

I have looked up the readings online for the different parameters that the Service Manual shows for this particular set. I was just wondering if anyone has any advice where the following values need to be set at for the following Parameters when going into the Service Menu and setting it at V76. I am referring to the following Parameters P13, 14, 15, 16. 17, & 18. This is the Drive and Bias Settings.

I wrote down what it was previously set at so I did not loose the data that it was set at.

It currently is set at the following P13-15 is set at V5

P16-19

P17-27

P18-32 When I follow the correct steps when in the Service Menu to store the changed entries they do not stay entered when the set is powered off. It retroverts back to the listing shown above.

I wonder about the eeprom failing or being corrupt. As I stated this is the RCA CTC 203AX Chassis. I am wondering if the eeprom for the RCA CTC203AX1 would interchange in this set?

Thanks.

First is WELL DONE saving the settings ! Most dont listen !
CTC 203 was the last true RCA / Thompson chassis. We saw few of them but
no E-prom problems. That means they were VERY reliable or not
built for long.
Dont mess with any tuner settings. Some settings are for features & the
number will always be the same for a given chassis ##. In other words
" I do / dont" have guide etc.

When doing this run the set with a toned down pix like it was in a dark room.
I always turned the volume down so it wont drive me nuts.
Keep in mind the set probably has AKB ( automatic kine bias) that
sets the grey scale & the settings are just for fine trimming.

Time for a beer !
