Got 10" Muntz tabletop.

I bought this 10" tabletop Muntz at the ETF convention swap meet. It looks similar to this 12" Muntz console Eric H posted from an eBay auction. It wasn't in very good condition but was cheap and I didn't have a Muntz.

Muntz

rld-tv01,

That is a great find! Here is a photo of my 10" Muntz, which may be the very same set. While this is not the absolute cheapest Muntz TV in terms of electrical design, (I think some of the 1950s sets were the cheapest designs), it already has many of the halmakrs of a Muntz TV. This model incorporates the one-tube horizontal oscillator/horizontal-output circuit, using a 6BG6. While a bit touchy to adjust, the set works OK with a strong signal. If I can be of any help, let me know.
