Hitachi 43FDX01B convergence issue
Wow, it seems to be raining tv problems for me lately!
My father in law's Hitachi 43FDX01B Projection tv seems to have encountered some wierd convergence issues last night. The top left of the screen is totally skewed and no adjustments seem to help. I know this is probably in the convergence circiit. I have researched the internet and found others seem to have this problem too. Anyone ever worked on this beast? Thanks! Shawn

I think I might have found the issue, these sets are prone to this failutre. The Convergence rectifier (2) of them were applied from the factory with less than ample amount of conductor grease, thus causing overheating and failure of the ic.
