A good newspaper article you should read!
Today in the Chicago Sun Times is a great article about vintage tv sets, brand names in perticular. The large picture of the 29JC20 looks great!
Its an interesting article. I'll let you read it............ |

the last page.
The photo caption with Robert perry is cut off at the bottom line. The last line says" "The tunderbolt "Z" logo, in use since the 1920s, is embedded in bommer brains" the very top and very bottom of the words are cut, but nothing is missing.

I want a B&W HDTV set!
Actually that would be easy, in that digital TV is broadcast with the B&W (luma), R-Y, and B-Y completely separate. If the FCC was to make good on its demand of shutting down NTSC broadcasts, people will still want small portable sets. And those would have to be digital receiving sets, and some will be B&W. |

FWIW, I was eyeing a Zenith 27" HDTV at Circuit City. I thought the pic was great and it had loads of features, typical with LG stuff. It's LG with a Z on the front.
I was hoping Quasar would come back actually. |
