SAM'S 461 needed

Hello All!

Does anyone have a copy of Sam's Photofacts Folder 461 handy?

I need a copy of the page in 461-2 (the Silvertone TV), that shows the Audio Amp. It's mounted behind the phono on the Combo model, and has lots of wires coming and going!

If you have one, and would email just the layout & schematic of the amp, I'd appreciate it!

Thanks ... Harry

hey--Happy New Year to all!

I pulled my copy out but it doesn't include the radio/phono. That must be in 461-2a,b, etc, and I don't have them. Oh well, at least I can give this thread a bump.

Sams 462 has another Silvertone that is a combo - it says look in Sams 417 folder 10, 11 and 12 for the phono and amp info. I have Sams 417- does your amp have dual 35C5 outputs? I can't scan, but can try a photo with my Nikon. Check the radio chassis for the 528.XXXX number - that's the ticket for combos.

Cheers,

TV-Phono combo, sort-of

OK...it has a TV and a phonograph..but no radio...so I guess it's really only 2/3 of a combo.

The phono amplifier is numbered 528.59591, and it has a pair of 7543's, three 6BQ5's, a 12X7 and a 5Y3. I didn't see that chassis number listed in SAM's, but I had hoped they'd cover it in the TV folder.

There are a few Sams covering Silvertone amps from that era, and IIRC, I may have the manual on microfiche - lemme dig some and see.

Cheers,

Your amp is in a Production Change Bulletin in Sams 508 "Supplemental Data to Set 461 Folder 2". I have it, but I don't have a scanner - I can try a direct photo perhaps - with a Nikon DLSR and email it to you - PM me.

Cheers,
