Eric H... is this yours?
For some time, we've been having these advertisements on TV for the 211 Health & Human Services Commission. The ad starts out in black and white with a scene that's supposed to look like Lucy & Ricky having a discussion about 211. The outlining area on the screen is the front of an old TV, and it finally occurred to me that the set looks like the General Electric set Eric grew up with (he talks about it on his website). I don't think it's an exact match... it looks like it might be re-badged as another brand.
What do ya think, Eric? Sorry for the crappy shot. This ad always pops up unexpectedly and I have to scurry around fast to get the camera before the ad ends.

Close but no, not the same.
Mine doesn't have that badge on the grille, also it's not color...  I suspect this is one of the plastic cased 17" models. BTW I did finally get one, Captainmoody found it for me!

I saw the photos on your site. You would think that would have been a fairly common set... making it easier to find than it has been.
