Can you tell me the difference from a 10bp4 and a 10bp4A? Whats the A all about please?

I believe that the A also indicates aluminized; a coating of aluminum over the phosphor, which increases brightness.

According to the GE tube manual:
10BP4 = clear faceplate, not aluminized 10BP4A = grey faceplate, not aluminized 10BP4C = clear faceplate, aluminized 10BP4D = grey faceplate, aluminized They have no listing for a 10BP4B. |
