Looking for vintage TV repair in New Hampshire

Hi all,

I have a nice looking RCA Deluxe model 21D8527 circa 1958.
The tube lights up but the issue seems to be that the vertical/horizontal is
out of whack. I can't see a definable picture but the controls still work;
(tone, volume, bright, contrast, vertical, horizontal)

Anyone know of a repair service in the Southern NH area?
Thanks,
Bill

You could contact an area radio/tv collector club and ask for a recommendation. Here's a list of clubs:

If you are fishing for stations with rabbit ears then your out of luck. They changed the TV transmission standard so you have to use a converter box, VCR, etc to feed the set a signal. Some of the sets from the late 50's onward will still work somewhat as found (though it is dangerous to let them run while unattended) anything that doesn't have paper caps in it may possibly still fine (even sets with papers can some times work as found, but aren't safe to run like that).

I'm sorry I should have mentioned ..
I'm not using this TV for that. I'm running out of my PC into an RF modulator and then to the TV. I know the setup works because I tested it with another small television.

So the issue is with this TV.

(Yes .. I know the picture won't be great .. but that's not important for what I'm doing)

Maybe the link that needs to work is where you posted pictures of your set! I'm not able to see those either.

Good luck with it!!

That link goes nowhere.

Is your link pointing to a directory on your local computer? Something like c:\main\bvdtunes\RCATV.htm , in other words.

Other people can't see files on your computer. The link needs to be part of a doman visible on the WWW.

There are many free photo hosting websites where you can upload your pictures. Then include a link from here to that location.

I like the cabinet. It is like a cross between 40's Art Deco, and and 50's modern stiling.
