Went over today and shot pics of everything still there. Hopefully someone spots something they like

Here's a link to the album:

http://s44.photobucket.com/albums/f9...ld/TV%20Hoard/

If any of you do see something you like from the photos (and I think I got everything there, just about) give the owner a ring at (623)580-8532. If you make arrangements with him on something, drop me a PM and I'll pick it up. I can always hand him the cash if you want to PayPal me (not sure if he accepts it), and we'll worry about the logistics of getting it to you later.

This stuff is going to be bound for the curb soon, and we'd all hate to see that happen

Some rarely seen stuff there, like the Motorola, Admiral and Sylvania color sets. If I were closer...

Within a month, I'll be in the Shamokin PA area, and have a trailer in tow. I hadn't seen that Admiral portable before the trip there yesterday, it's too bad about the cataract. Still worth doing IMO.

Yes, I would do that Admiral and Motorola WID (photos 11-12)
If you are in Sham-O-kin, I work in Harrisburg and could blast up there to meet you.

BTW I have an 1980 RCA like #4 I am taking to the recycle, it has a weak CRT but works.
I also have TWO Zeniths like #7 (19DC11) that both work super-duper.

I have knobs for the '72 & '74 Zenith also.

I'm in Buffalo, but I'm going to be headed into Shamokin in about a month. Give the guy a call, and make the deal with him, and let me know. That's his cell, he's usually around. If you need me to make the cash transfer, I can give you my PayPal, or you can deal direct with him, whatever works.

BTW, if memory serves, that's not a Motorola, it's a Quasar.

That's the Admiral saved

Anyone else? I don't mind holding them, or I can see the destinations of Cleveland and eastern PA as upcoming destinations for myself in the near future.

I hope someone saves that Chromacolor table set in the 7th picture. I'm broke right now, and I suspect that I could get chewed out if I asked for it right now.

I'll grab it for you if you want. Not sure where you live, so I dunno if any of the locales I'm visiting are close to you.

Okay, here's the scoop

I plan on calling Pat tomorrow. Please make sure that if you want one or more of these sets, or parts, or whatever, to call Pat and make sure you and he have a positive ID of what you want, and settle on a price. If you're paying him, pay him. If I'm paying him, let me know in a PM how much cash to bring.

Once that's all settled, I'll go over with my van and pick up what you want. I just want to leave as little room as possible for error if I can. If I need to hold it for you for six months, no problem.

Once again, I'm just outside Buffalo. I can transport to Erie, Rochester (think AWA meet in late summer) Shamokin PA, and Cleveland.

Have at it, and drop me PMs

Why oh why can't a stash like this be just around the corner from where I live? Looks like some interesting finds in amongst all that stuff!

You just gotta love American made quality

Y'know, the very moment I have someone over the house and want to show off this sucker, all cleaned up and what not.....dead. Full raster, hum for sound, and no snow. Bah. Looks like this'un is gonna be a project for next winter.....

Might as well tear the whole sucker apart and fix the cataract while I'm at it, huh?

I'd check to see if the tubes light. If not probably the power cord or interlock (my 71' Zenith's interlock likes to unplug it's self when moved).
