Opinions please.

Not that your guys are known for being shy about your opinions . . .

but I am toying with the idea of changing the speaker cloth on the Tele-bar. Stay with the original black, or add a touch more gold to balance out the black more? What do you think?

Hi I would go for what you like best I know the original is best but you have to live with it and this can be easily changed if you want later. Danny

I like the gold cloth. Everything about it. The tonal value, pattern, excetera.

Even as a purist, I say go for it. Speaker cloths can always be changed back.

Go big or go home!

Thanks for everyone's 2 cents. I think I am gonna keep the original and make a second board with the gold on it. This way I have both done and can decide which one to put in later and switch them out anytime I feel like it. Do not want to trash the original, but I kinda like the gold too.

Also, my wife may have some input with this decision as well. This set is the ONLY one she kinda likes of my collection. Everything else she simply . . . tolerates. LOL!

I like the original black better. I think the gold will draw too much attention to the non centered speaker area.

That's a beautiful set you have there, but I'd sure dread keeping a black anything dusted around this place.

Wife picked the gold! What to do?!?!? I think I am going to make a second speaker board with the gold on it so I can keep original and switch to gold if I want to. Swap out is easy enough. I kinda like both. Appreciate keeping the original, but the gold also "makes it pop" as my wife stated.

I'd go with the gold. If for no other reason that it shows that you appreciate her input

Best solution. Earn some Bonus Husband Points if your wife likes the gold. If later you decide the sell the piece, reinstall the original and it's authentic.

After all the stuff you're bringing in I'm shocked that you got her down to the basement to make a recommendation
