Highly Unusual 1950 Sylvania (Parts Question)

Big Dave and I have been working on this highly unusual 1950 Sylvania 16" set, Model 1-090, Chassis 1-168, for a client from Delaware. It's clearly an example of a set designed before Sylvania secured licensing for the use of Farnsworth's circuit for Flyback HV and they used an RF HV supply to provide HV for its 16LP4 magnetic deflection CRT similar to Dumont's work-around for the RA-101B to avoid patent infringement prior to becoming licensed to use Flyback HV.

Inability to sync the picture horizontally remained an issue after recapping, which we determined was caused by an open center-tap connection inside the horizontal phase detector winding, inaccessible to reconnect without risking the destruction of the coil. The coil is Sylvania part number 128-0001, identified as L32 in Sams Photofact 99-17 or as T53 in the Sylvania service literature. No aftermarket substitutes listed in the Sams Photofact parts list. We're wondering if anyone might be aware of a suitable aftermarket replacement or a source for a (new or used) original coil. Is anyone else familiar with this set?
