name that tune again

Telecolor got a fast answer so I shall try.

1950's R&B
What do ya (you) want. Or any other spelling.
Call: "Oh what do ya want"
Response: "Dont want no diamond rings"
ETC.................

Not a hit but used to hear it when they played REAL oldies.
That makes it 30 yrs ago.
Would have done well on the race charts.
IIRC it was a female lead & a great jump side.
Need to add the 45 to collection.
Spent an hour googling & Utubing HELP !

Um... www.lyricfinder.org ? I found a few songs from a chick flick that way. And no, I didn't watch the chick flick, but looked for a relative....

I think I remember the tune you're thinking of. Was it a Motown artist?
I got lucky, this last week. A thrift shop had every thing half price and just got a load of 45's. A lot of them were re-issues, but were the original recordings. Bought about thirty records, two-bits each.
