Zenith CCII,23FC45 vertical issue

Hello. This set works except the I’m not getting full vertical deflection. There’s about an 1 1/2” top and bottom with no picture. The pot on the vertical module is maxed out. I replaced a bad 100uf cap (open)behind the module No change.
Checked the two electrolytic caps and reflowed solder connections on vert board. No change. Heat sink seems a tad to warm for the short time that it was on. Don’t know if this is normal as I don’t have any experience with TVs. Set has had Orange cap update. I have a sams ordered and the 3.5uf “start”
Cap for the power supply. Any help to point me right direction would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

There is a chance the problem is off board but I never had one
out of 1000s of CC2 sets.
Uses a 9-92 but you can use a 9-147. The 9-147 is a newer one
Looks different but it subs. Looks better I think ! Always some on
E-bay

You were right! Bought a NOS 9-147B module for $25.00 on skibay. Not worth rebuilding the old one for that. The heat sink looks much better too. I picked up this tv on Craig’s list
To watch the Apollo 11 moon landing on its 50th anniversary July 20th on a vintage set. Although this Zenith is a bit newer than the one I watched the Apollo missions on as a kid
It will do just fine. Thanks

I installed the 9-147 board and it didn’t make any difference. When there are vertical lines in the image being displayed they are bent over at the top. I have the sams now and
I’ll start checking voltages. Hope this is not a bad picture tube.

The bending A.K.A. "flag waving" or "top hook" is usually coming from the source. On the 9-90 check the 330 ohm at the corner of board. You can also
try the RF AGC control on the 9-87.
Never had an off board vert problem except the fuse. IIRC the outputs
runs off a 50 V supply, look there next.
