Thanks. I've got the TV put back together and stored to one side. I think what I'll do is be patient and try to get a hold of a SAMS and keep an eye out for a 9-86-02 module on eBay. I did order a 9-86-R for six dollars in the hopes that it might work. I'll also check for the 24v pin on the board itself.

Just an update. I managed to buy a couple of chroma modules from eBay. I popped one in and the picture looks fine now. Thanks for all the information and help.
