Help Identifying vintage Zenith TV console
I found this very nice Zenith TV console two hours away. I’ve never seen a console model like this. It looks like a late 50’s, early 60’s B&W set. But I’m not sure. Can anyone identify the model number and year of production for this fine TV console? It has a record changer mounted in a drawer below the CRT. Thanks in advance.

It looks like a 1959 model. It also looks like a remote control equipped set (that's a BIG plus in my book) based on the tuning knob.
Back then Zenith used the same chassis in every console they sold so electronically speaking the chassis number is the best ID for service literature. Zenith monochrome console chassis design was very consistent and very high quality from 1958-73. The model number is just an identifier for the cabinet.

Is the record player a stereo unit?

No but maybe almost....
We had a Zenith console record player same vintage. Same VM turntable. The cartridge was stereo but the unit mono. You could order a matching set with an amp & speaker, hook them together & you got stereo. 73 Zeno ![]() LFOD ! |

I don't know if this will help, I have a metal cabinet Zenith that looks pretty close to what you have.
Pics attached. |
