Elvis' CTC-5

Eric,
I believe it was the "Whitby" model #21-cd-7897 with the Deluxe chassis. The cabinet was blonde tropical hardwood. You raise a good point about having a 20 year old set in such a prominent place in the mansion. It may have been in storage and then placed in the living room to represent that period in the King's life. A blonde "Whitby" is in Steve McVoy's collection and can be viewed on his ETF site.
The "Whitby" can also be viewed on Ed Reitan's site.
