Some more paper capacitor replacements done today. All of these capacitors were leaky, and some even double leaky with oil running out of it. Only 7 more capacitors left not counting the large electrolytic capacitors. I will probably bring it up slowly on the Sencore PR57 and see what happens. No doubt, the three can multi-section capacitors will need to be stuffed. I will even try it with the selenium rectifiers still in place, but monitor the current draw very carefully.

The nasty goo on the CRT came right off. I stuck the face in a bowl of water and that rubber just melted away. However, this tube is weak according to my notes. But it will be good enough for continued restoration.
