Yes, you are all right!
Not to get off on a rant, but I guess am one of the "bad" guys for getting freaking irritated that fine, vintage electronics are being shipped out of here never to be seen again. It's not like there is an abundance of these sets left and I think it stinks that this set is destined to live in a socialistic riot zone. You know, while we are at it, let's just go ahead and ship all the quality American built products overseas, just like the rest of the manufacturing in this country and leave the garbage imported products here. That just sounds great. Goodness knows there is little of nothing built to resemble a quality product these days. If this opinon makes me "evil" in the eyes of some, so be it. I wouldn't be any happier if it went to England, Canada, Mexico or any other country. Referring to Yagosaga's post: It seems to me that to say that France would fare any better from the so called climate collapse (last time I checked the myth of "Global Warming" was just that, Global) just for an argument of preservation's sake is hardly a relevant argument. Everyone has an opinion and I respect that. However, I sit up and take notice when I and others are essentially told not to voice our opinions or scolded for voicing our opinions for the sake of feelings of the so called greater good. Seems to me the right of expression is what the free world fought to protect. Perhaps the free world is much smaller than I was raised to believe. Just my opinion. Now back to the regularly scheduled programming. |
